My Neighborhood

This is what it looks like a block from my apartment in White Plains, New York. This beautiful church plays music every Wednesday at noon. The tall buildings reflect the clouds and add a special sparkle to the city. We've never lived in a city before, but I like it.

It's absolutely beautiful!

I'm glad to know you like living there. I take it you are a country gal. That sounds nice, too.

Me? I'm a small-town gal from Northeastern Ohio. Obviously I'm happy here, hubby and I purchased the house I grew up in, so I've come full circle.

Hope you continue to enjoy your surroundings. God Bless.

I'm drawn to old churches. How wonderful to have one so close and even more lovely to hear music.

Karen, that shot is such an artistic contrast between old and new, nature and man-made, religion and the secular--I'm a big city girl who would give her eye teeth to live out in the country. And we're "fixin' to" move to downtown Austin. Go figure!

We moved from the city to a small town 10 years ago. I dream about moving back, walking the streets, hearing the church bells, looking up towards tall buildings. We plan to return within the next 3 years and I can't wait.

Glad to see the place that you live now. I was in the guild with you when you lived in Franklin, Tn. You do such amazing work. I'm a regular reader of your blog and enjoy it very much. Jenny Moss
